beef in a spicy sauce

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
600 gr sirloin beef
800 ml water
1 tsp salt
1/2 kunyit leaf
5 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
3 pieces asem gelugor
3 sprigs kemangi (lemon basil)

Haluskan:
bumbu:
3 kemiri nuts (candlenuts)
9 red rawits
4 shallots
5 cloves garlic
2 cm jahe (ginger)
1 cm laos (galangal)
1 cm kunyit (turmeric)

Cara membuat:
preperation/method:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Slice the meat into pieces. Heat in a wok the water and add the meat, the bumbu, the salt, the asem, the jerut purut and the kunyit leaf and let it simmer slowly until the meat is done. Mix in the kemangi leaves and serve.
