Daging Masak Hong
marinated spiced beef

500 gr beef (steak/tenderloin)
1/2 tsp ngo hiang / five spice powder
1 pokak/takokak/sparrow eggplant (small green eggplant)
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp kecap asin
1 tsp palm sugar
1 tbsp arak
1 tbsp butter

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into thin slices. Crush the pokak and mash the garlic. Mix the five spice powder, the pokak, the garlic, the kecap, the palm sugar and the arak well and marinate the meat with it for at least 2 hours. Melt the butter and mix it into the meat mixture and let it sit until the meat is tender. serve.
