In fact originally from the Bango website which has many original recipes on it.
Strange. The same recipe appears here from 2015: pretty much word for word, I thought you stated that all your recipes are original and not taken from other blogs on the web?

Empal Harum
fragrant dry fried beef

500g beef (shank)
2 salam leaves
600 ml of water
500 ml coconut milk
1 teaspoon salt

5 kemiri/candlenuts
8 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
100 g of palm sugar
2 1/2 tsp ketumbar
2 cm laos

Cara Membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the paste into a paste. Heat in a pan the water together with the bumbu, salt and salam and bring to the boil. Add the meat and cook it slowly until half-cooked. Remove the meat from the pan and cut into 14 slices and flatten it. Add the meat back to the pan with the coconut milk and cook until done. Remove the meat from the pan. Heat in a pan sufficient oil and fry the meat brown.
