Babi Masak Kucai
pork in a seasoned sauce

300 g of pork
3 jeruk purut leaves
5 red rawits
1 tbsp angciu, otherwise mirin or rice wine
1 tbsp kecap asin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp palm sugar
500 ml of water
3 stems of kucai / Chinese chives
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp oil

5 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
2 cm jahe

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into thin strips. Halve the rawits and cut the kucai into 3 cm pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu together with the jeruk purut for 4 minutes. Then add the meat and cook until it changes color.
Then add the rawits, the kecap, the angciu, the salt, the pepper and the palmsugar and mix everything well.
Then slowly add the water and bring to the boil while stirring and then cook it gently until done. Mix in the kucai and the sesame oil and serve.
