Burung Puyuh Panggang
3 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp oil
4 cloves garlic
4 spring onions
1 red lombok
1 tsp fishsauce
1 tsp palmsugar
1/2 tsp salt
Slice the sereh and the garlic fine. Pound or grind the lombok fine. Slice the springonions fine. Heat in a wok/wadjan the oil and fry the
garlic for 2 minutes. Add the springonion and the sereh and fry it quick. Add the lombok, the fishsauce, the palmsugar and the salt and
stir well and let it cool down.
Coat the quals with the mixture and let it marinate for at least 2 hours. Skewer the quals and sprinkle them with the sesame oil. Roast the
quals slowly above a charcoal fire until done.
