Pindang Ayam Labu Kuning
stewed spiced chicken with pumpkin/squash

1/2 chicken
200 gr labu kuning / yellow pumpkin/squash
2 cm Lengkuas / galangal / laos
2 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp palm sugar
1 tsp salt
1700 ml of water
3 tbsp oil

4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 red lomboks, seeded
2 green lomboks, seeded
4 cm kunyit, roasted
10 belimbing sayur

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Dice the pumpkin/squash. Cut the ingredients for the bumbu into thin slices.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the laos for 5 minutes. Then add the chicken and fry until it changes color.
Then add the water, the kecap, the palm sugar and the salt and bring it to the boil. Then add the pumpkin/squash and cook until done. Serve.
