Pindang Ayam kecombrang
fried chicken in a spicy stuffed sauce

1 chicken
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1500 ml water
2 salam leaves
2 cm laos
3 strands kecombrang
2 tomatoes
3 red chilies
3 green chilies
5 shallots
3 garlic clove
3cm kunyit
2 tbsp kecap manis
3 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 12 pieces, the tomatoes, the chilies into large pieces, the shallots and the garlic into thin slices. Cut the kecombrang into pieces. Marinate the chicken with salt and lemon juice and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until browned. Add the garlic and the shallots and cook for 2 minutes.
Heat in a pan the water and add the salam, the kecombrang, tomatoes, chilies, shallots, garlic, galangal and kunyit and cook it for a few minutes. Add the chicken and bring to a boil. Then add the kecap, the salt, the pepper and palm sugar and cook slowly until done.
