Chicken with vegetables in a sweet spicy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients:
500 gr chicken
1 carrot
200 gr choisam (otherwise packsoy)
5 red rawits / bird's eye
3 jeruk purut / kaffi lime leaves
1 tsp palmsugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp kecap manis
500 ml of water
2 tbsp oil
Haluskan:
Bumbu:
3 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
2 red lomboks
2 kemiri/candlenuts
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/2 tbsp ketumbar
Cara Membuat:

Cut the chicken into pieces, the carrot into slices, the choisam coarse and the rawits into thin strips. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu with the rawits and the jeruk purut for 4 minutes. Add the water, salt and palm sugar and stir well. Then add the chicken and the kecap and simmer it gently until the chicken is nearly done. Then add the carrot and the choisam and cook it slowly until done.
