Malbi Ayam
braised chicken in a creamy sauce

1 chicken
2 salam leaves
2 stalks lemongrass
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp kecap manis
200ml coconut milk
2 tbsp asemwater
2 tablespoons oil
7 shallots
5 cloves garlic
2 cm jahe
2 cm laos
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the chicken into 12 pieces. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the lemongrass and the salam for 5 minutes. Add the chicken and fry until brown. Add the coconut milk, add salt and kecap and slowly cook the chicken. Stir the asemwater through and cook for 1 minute.
