豉汁排骨 - Steamed ribs with fermented black beans
ingredients:
500 gr pork ribs
2 tbsp maizena / cornstarch
2 tbsp water
ingredients marinade:
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp palm sugar
1 tbsp dou-chi (fermented black beans)
2 cm ginger
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine
garnish:
1 red rawit
1 cm ginger
5 coriander roots
preparation:
Cut the spareribs into small pieces. Grate de jahe and chop the garlic nicely. Chop the black beans coarsly. Mix ingredients for the marinade well and marinate the meat for at least 4 hours. Mix the maizena and the water and mix it through the meat. Spoon the meat in a steam bowl and spoon the black beans on top. Then steam the meat for 20-25 minutes until done. Garnish with grated jahe, finely sliced rawit and coriander root.
