chicken en rice soup (2pp)

150 gr jasmin rice
100 gr chicken breast
800 ml chicken stock
6 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp peppercorns
3 cm ginger
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp nam pla (vissaus)
15 coriander leaves
3 red rawits (small chilies)
2 tsp fried garlic
Pound or grind the meat with the garlic, the salt and the pepper into a paste. Heat the stock in a pan to boil. Form small balls of the paste and add it to the stock. Add the rice and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Add the nam pla and cook it slowly for 5 more minutes. Grate the ginger and add it to the soup. Cut the coriander leaves and the rawits into small strips. Serve the soup into bowls and garnish it with the coriander leaves, the rawits and the garlic and serve.
