Terik Tempe Tahu (Jawa Timur)
tempe and tahu stewed in spicy coconut milk

300 gr tempe
300 gr tahu
2 tsp palmsugar
1 cm Lengkuas / galangal
2 salam leaf
500 ml of coconut milk

4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
3 kemiri nuts
1 tsp ketumbar
2 cm kunyit
3 kemiri nuts
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the tempe into blocks of 4x4x1cm and the tahu in blocks of 5x5x1cm. Heat in a pan of oil and fry the tahu and tempe until golden brown. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the salam and the laos for 4 minutes. Then add the coconut milk, the palm sugar, the tahu and tempe and cook until the sauce has thickened and the oil is released. Serve.
