Gule Ikan Bali
fish curry balinese style
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr firm white fish (bass)
1/2 lime (juice)
salt to taste
1 tbsp tapioca flour
6 tbsp oil
Bahan-bahan saus:
ingredients sauce:
1 tsp trasi (shrimp paste)
2 red onions
3 cm jahe (ginger)
2 cm laos (galangal)
3 red rawits
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp asem (tamarind)
250 ml water
Taburan:

chopped coriander leaves
Cara membuat:
preperation/method:
Pound or grind the trasi, the onions, the jahe, the laos, the rawits and the garlic fine into a paste. Heat in a wok 2 tbsp oil and fry the paste for 2 minutes. Add the kecap, the asme and the water and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Cut the fish into pieces and sprinkle the lime juice, the salt and the flour on top. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the fish for 2-3 minutes. Remove the fish and add it to the sauce. Let is simmer slowly for 3 minutes more. Sprinkle the coriander on top and serve
