Kalio Ikan Tenggiri
fried fish in spiced creamy sauce

1 large ikan tenggiri / mackerel
2 tbsp lime, juice
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 jeruk purut leaves
2 kunyit leaves
2 serai / sereh / lemongrass
1000 ml coconut milk (from 1 coconut)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar

9 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 cm kunyit, roasted
2 red lomboks
1 tsp ketumbar

Cara membuat:
Clean the fish. Cut it into 5 pieces and rub it with the lime juice, pepper and salt and let it marinate for 15 minutes. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the fish and set aside. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan some of the used oil and fry the bumbu together with the jeruk purut, the kunyit leaves and the serai for 5 minutes. Then add the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
Then add the pepper, the salt, the palm sugar and mix well. Then add the fish and cook until done and the sauce has thickened. Serve.
