Gurame Kunyit Pedas
fish in spicy yellow sauce

500g Gouramis otherwise carp
1 lime, juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 lemongrass stalk
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
1 spring onion
500 ml of water
5 red rawits
6 shallots
3 cloves garlic
2 kemiri nuts
4 cm kunyit / turmeric
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cara membuat:
Clean the fish and cut it into pieces. Marinate the fish with the lime juice and salt and let it stand for 15 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the spring onion into pieces.
Heat enough oil in a pan and fry the fish brown and cooked through. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the paste with lemongrass for 4 minutes. Add the salt, palmsugar and water and bring to a boil. Add the fish and simmer gently until all flavours are mixed well. Stir in the spring onion and serve.
