Lapis Daging Probolinggo
beef in Probolinggo (Java) style

300g beef
2 eggs
500 ml of water
2 tbsp kecap manis
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tomatoes
2 spring onions
4 shallots
3 cloves garlic
4 kemiri nuts
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into thin slices, the tomatoes in small pieces and the spring onions into small strips. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Beat the eggs and dip in the meat.
Heat enough oil in a pan and fry the meat briefly and scoop it from the pan. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the bumbu for 4 minutes. Add the kecap and water and bring to a boil. Add the meat and as it has become half cooked, add the salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix well. Then add the tomatoes and spring onion cook it slowly until done.
