Ayam Goreng Tepung (Semarang)
fried chicken in spicy tomato sauce

350 gr chicken thighs
1 tbsp kecap asin
1 tsp pepper
1 egg
100 gr sago / tapioca flour
1 carrot
1 small cauliflower, florets
50 gr snow peas
2 small spring onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 tomato + 150 ml of boiling water
3 tbsp saus tomat
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into 1/2x3x4 cm slices. Cut the spring onion into 3 cm pieces. Cut the cauliflower florets into small pieces. Puree the tomato with the water. Pound or grind the garlic finely.
Crush the meat slices and roll them through the kecap and pepper. Then roll it through the sago, then the egg and again through the sago. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the slices golden brown and set aside.
Heat in a pan 3 tbsp of the used oil and fry the garlic for 1 minute. Then add the tomato water, the saus tomat and the pepper and bring to the boil. Then add the cauliflower and mix well. Then mix in the salt, palm sugar, vinegar and meat. Then mix in 1 teaspoon sago (dissolved) and stir until the sauce binds. Then mix in the snow peas and the spring onion and serve.
