Udang Masak tauco
prawns in spicy sauce

500g large shrimp or tiger prawns
3 tablespoons oil
5 shallots
5 cloves garlic
8 green chilies
1/2 tomato
2 cm galangal, grated
1 salam leaf
2 cm jahe, grated
5 tbsp tauco
6 peteh beans
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
5 tbsp water
Cara membuat:
Clean the prawns and remove the head. Slice the shallots and the garlic into thin slices and halve the peteh beans. Cut the tomatoes into pieces and slice the chilies.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots, garlic, chilies, tomato, jahe, salem and laos for 5 minutes. Add the tauco, the peteh and the prawns and fry for 3 minutes. Then add the salt, the palm sugar and water and cook until the prawns are done and the sauce has thickened.
