Bebek Ungkep Cabai Gendot

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
750 gr duck
1 tbsp lime juice
6 shallots
3 cm laos
1 kunyit leaf
1 sereh / lemongrass (white portion)
6 green gendot / habanero
500 ml of water
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp of palm sugar
500 ml coconut milk
2 tbsp oil

4 kemiri/candlenuts
7 green lomboks
1 cm jahe
Cara Membuat:
preparation:
Cut the duck into 8 pieces and rub it in with the lime juice and allow for 15 minutes to rest. Rinse off afterwards. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Halve the gendots and cut the shallots into thin slices.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots with the bumbu, laos, kunyit leaf and sereh for 4 minutes. Then add the duck and the gendot and mix well. Fry the duck until the colour changes. Add the water, salt and palm sugar and mix well. Then add the coconut milk and simmer it gently until the duck is cooked and until the oil is released.
