Woku Ayam Pedas Pandan Balut
in pandan leaf wrapped spicy chicken

300g chicken thighs
1 tsp lemon juice
5 jeruk purut
1 pandan leaf
1 kunyit
50 g kemangi
4 spring onions
1 tomato
1000 ml water
16 pandan leaf
9 shallots
3 red chilies
3 red rawits
2cm kunyit
2cm jahe
3 serehstengels
8 kemiri nuts
2 tsp salt
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into pieces and marinate it with lemon juice and let rest for 15 minutes. Cut the pandan leaf and kunyit into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the tomatoes and the spring onions into pieces.
Heat in a pan the water and add the paste, the jeruk purut, the pandan leaf, kunyit leaf, the kemangi, spring onions and the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Add the chicken and cook it till the sauce thickens.
Take some of the mixture and wrapped it in a pandan leaf (16 pieces). Steam or roast the package for 15 minutes, then serve.
