Ayam bakar Bumbu kelapa
roasted chicken with coconut dressing

1 chicken
1 tbsp asemwater
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp kecap manis
4 jeruk purut
2 salam leaves
500 ml of water
100g grated coconut
7 shallots
4 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 kemiri nuts
5 red chilies
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1 cm jahe
1cm galangal
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Roast the coconut dry in a pan. Add in a pan the water, the chicken, salt, asemwater, the kecap, the salam, the jeruk purut and the paste and cook the chicken nearly done. Add the coconut and cook until the sauce thickens. Roast the chicken then over a charcoal fire until golden brown.
