Jiàng Yóu Chǎo Fàn - 酱油炒饭
Chinese basic nasi goreng
Ingredients:
350 g rice, cooked
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
5 cloves of garlic
1 spring onion
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
Finely chop the garlic and finely chop the spring onion. Mix in a bowl both soy sauces with the sesame oil, the palm sugar and the pepper.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the garlic and fry until golden brown. Then add the rice and mix well and cook for 30 seconds. Then flip the rice and fry for 10 seconds.
Then add the soy mixture and mix well. Then mix in the spring onion and serve.
Optionally add vegetables and meat/fish/tahu to taste.
