Ng Heung Ngau Yook Szee
stir-fry of seasoned beef
Ingredients:
500 gr beef
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp salt
1 cm jahe/ginger
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tsp five spice powder
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
Cut the meat into thin strips. Grate the jahe and finely chop the garlic. Mix the garlic, jahe, salt and soy sauce. Then mix in the meat and then the cornflour and the five-spice powder.
Heat the oil in a pan over high heat and fry the meat until it changes color. Then add the water and bring to a boil and keep stirring until the sauce has thickened. serve.
