Menjes Masak Kikil
tempe with beef

300 gr tempe gembus / menjes
250g kikil (beef shank)
6 spring onions
5 cloves garlic
5 green chilies
5 green rawits
2cm jahe
2 salam leaves
3 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp salt
250 ml water
2 tablespoons oil
Cara membuat:
Heat in a pan the water and add the shanks and cook it nearly done. Drain and cut the meat into pieces. Cut the tempeh into pieces, the garlic into thin slices, the chilies and rawits in slanting slices and spring onions into pieces.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the onions, garlic, chilies, the rawits, the jahe and the salam for 4 minutes. Add the temepe and the meat and mix well. Spoon in the kecap and salt. Then add the water and cook slowly until done.
