Tumis cumi belimbing sayur
fried calamari in fresh-sour sauce

600 gr cumi / calemari/ squid
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2cm jeruk purut
1cm jahe
5 red rawits
3 belimbing / star fruit
100 ml of water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1 sprig kemangi
1 spring onion
2 tablespoons oil
4 cloves garlic
1 cm kunyit
2 kemiri nuts
Cara membuat:
Cut the calemari in 1 1/2 cm thick rings. Cut the belimbing in half and spring onion into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Marinate the calemari with lemon juice for 15 minutes and then rinse.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes with the jahe and jeruk purut. Add the calemari and fry until it changes color. Add the rawits and belimbing and mix well. Then add the water, the salt, the pepper and palm sugar and cook until tender. Spoon in the kemangi and spring onion and serve.
