Acar Artisjok
Atjar of Artichoke Hearts

2 tbsp oil
1 salam leaf
2 onions
300 ml of acetic
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp. sugar
1 cm jahe (ginger)
200 gr artichoke hearts.
1 cm kunyit (turmeric)

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the jahe and the kunyit fine. Slice the onions and the garlic. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the onions, garlic and the jahe for 3 minutes. Add the kunyit, the salam, sugar and vinegar and let it simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Place the artichokes in a pot and pour the mixture over and let it cool.
