beef in a creamy red pepper sauce

500 gr of beef
1000 ml thick coconut milk (kental)
2 serai / sereh / lemongrass
2 cm lengkuas / galangal
1 tbsp asam water
1 tsp palmsugar
1 tsp salt

5 red lomboks
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
6 kemiri nuts

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the coconut milk in a pan together with the bumbu, the serai and the laos and bring to the boil while stirring. Then add the meat and cook it gently for 1 hour and until the sauce thickens. Then add the asamwater, the salt and the palmsugar and cook it slowly until done.
