Daging Masak Segar
braised beef in a spicy and light sour sauce

300 gr of beef
6 jeruk purut leaves
3 cm lengkuas / galangal
8 red rawits
4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2000 ml beef broth
3 tsp asam water
3 sprigs of kemangi
1/2 lime, juice

7 shallots
7 cloves of garlic
4 cm kunyit, roasted
4 red cabai keriting (curly cayenne pepper)

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan of oil and fry the bumbu together with the jeruk purut and the laos for 6 minutes. Then add the meat and cook until it changes color.
Then add the rawits, the pepper, the salt, the palmsugar and the nutmeg and mix well. Then add the stock and cook until done.
Then spoon in the lime juice, the asam water and the kemangi and serve.
