Gepuk Daging Sapi Serundeng Khas Sunda
tenderloin with serundeng from Sunda

500g beef fillet
700 ml water
6 tablespoons oil
200ml beef stock (see recipe)
50g palm sugar
1 tsp salt
3 salam leaves
200g freshly grated coconut
5 shallots
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp ketumbar
7 cm laos
Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the meat into slices 1.5 cm thick. Heat in a pan 3 tbsp oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the broth, salt and palm sugar and mix well. Add the meat and cook the meat is cooked and scoop from the pan. Heat in a pan 3 tbsp oil and fry the meat brown and sprinkle with the serundeng.
Roast the coconut dry in a skillet until it is nicely brown. Add a little oil if necessary.
