Babi Acar
pork in slightly sour sauce

400 g lean bacon
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp sugar
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp mustard
300 ml of water

4 cm kunyit (turmeric)
2 cm jahe (ginger)
3 kemiri (candlenuts)
3 cloves of garlic

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces of 3 cm length. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Heat the water in a pan and cook the meat with salt for 15 minutes. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the paste for 2 minutes. Then add the drained meat, the vinegar and the sugar and let it simmer for 5 minutes. If needed add some broth and finally the mustard and stir well.
