Sayur keluak ayam

1 chicken
800 ml water
3 cloves garlic
5 shallots
2 red chilies
400ml coconut milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
1 tbsp asemwater
3 tablespoons oil
2 cm laos
1 tsp ketumbar
1/2 tsp shrimp paste
3 keluak / kluwek nuts
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 10 pieces. Cut the shallots and the garlic into thin slices and the chilies into oblique strips. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a pan the water and cook the chicken until its half done. Drain but leave 500 ml of stock.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the garlic, shallots and chilies for 3 minutes. Add the paste and the chicken and fry it untill the color changes. Add the broth, coconut milk, salt and palm sugar and cook until tender. Then stir in the asemwater and serve.
