Sweet and sour fried tofu / tahu

Sweet and sour fried tofu / tahu
Ingredients:
400 gr tahu / tofu
2 cloves of garlic
2 cm jahe/ginger
1 spring onion
125 ml of oil
Ingredients sauce:
2 tablespoons of saus tomat (see recipe)
6 tablespoons of water
1/2 tablespoon maizena
1/2 tablespoon of palm sugar
1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
Preparation:
Cut the tahu into small cubes. Chop the garlic, the ginger and the white part of the spring onion finely. cut the green portion of the spring onion fine for the garnish. Mix the ingredients for the sauce well.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tahu until golden brown. Spoon the tahu out of the pan and set aside. Pour the oil but leave 1 tablespoon of oil behind. Fry the garlic, the white portion of the spring onion and the jahe slowly for 2 minutes. Add the sauce and bring to the boil. Then add the tahu and mix well. Cook it slowly until the sauce has thickened. Sprinkle the spring onion on top and serve.
