stuffed bitter gourds / cucumber
2 pare (bitter gourd / cucumber)
225 gr. minced meat
3 cloves garlic
3 tbsp kecap asin
2 tbsp oil
Slice the shallots and the garlic fine. Mix the meat with the shallots, the garlic and the kecap. Slice one end of the pare and remove the seeds. Heat in a pan water and boil the pare for 10 minutes, then drain and let it cool down. Stuff the pare with the meat mixture. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the pare golden brown. Add the water and let the pare simmer slowly and covered for 35 minutes.
