Ayam Panggang Pedas
spicy grilled stewed chicken

1 chicken
1 tbsp asam water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
500 ml coconut milk (from 1 coconut)

9 shallots
7 cloves of garlic
10 red cabai keriting (curly cayenne pepper)
2 cm kunyit, toasted
1 tsp terasi / trasi, toasted
1/2 tsp ketumbar
1/2 tsp jinten
2 cm kencur
3 cm lengkuas / galangal
2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 4 pieces and rub it with the asam water, the pepper and the salt and let it marinate for 15 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat the coconut milk with the bumbu in a pan and bring to the boil. Then add the chicken and cook the chicken on low heat until done.
Then roast the chicken over a charcoal fire until brown and baste it regularly with the sauce. Serve.
