spicy broiled chicken from Padang

2 chicken / 16 drumsticks 
1 tbsp salt
1 lime, juice
3 salam leaves
5 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
400 ml coconut milk
3 tbsp oil
5 shallots
5 cloves garlic
9 red chilies
6 cm jahe
6 cm laos
3 cm kunyit
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 lemongrass stalk
2 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
Cut each chicken into 8 pieces. Rub the chicken with the salt and the lime juice and let marinate for 30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the salam, the jeruk purut, coconut milk and chicken and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer slowly until the chicken is cooked and the sauce has thickened. Remove the chicken from the pan and roast the chicken until golden brown over a charcoal fires in 8 minutes. Baste the chicken with the sauce frequently.
