grilled fish with curry

1000 gr whitefish
1 sereh/lemongrass
6 red onions
3 cloves garlic
9 cm kunyit root
12 dried Thai chilies
3 green chilies
1 tsp salt
10 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
12 Thai basil leaves
1 lime
banana leaf
Soak the chiles in water first. Pound or grind the onion, garlic, kunyit rootl, chili peppers, chilies and salt to a fine pasta. Cutd the jeruk purut finely and mix it with the pasta. Cut the fish into pieces (boneless) and mix it with the pasta. Pack 4-6 chunks of fish with some basicicum leaves and some lime juice in a banana leaf and secure with the biteng. Grill the packets slowly over a charcoal fire until cooked.
