Roasted chicken

1 chicken
2 sereh (lemongrass)
13 cloves garlic
2 tsp salt
11 cm turmeric
1 tsp wihte peppercorns

Pound or grind the sereh, the garlic, the salt, the turmeric and the peppercorns fine into a paste. Cut the chicken in two pieces and rub it in with the paste and let it marinate for at least 4 hours. Roast/grill the chicken slowly above a charcoalfire for 15 minutes until golden brown and done.
