Kai Yang
garlic chicken
Ingredients:
1 heavy chicken (1500 gr)
7 cloves of garlic
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp black peppercorns
2 tbsp lime juice
5 sprigs of coriander (including root)
garnish:
1 tomato, slices
1 red lombok, chopped
Preparation:
Pound or grind the garlic, salt and pepper into a coarse paste. Finely chop the coriander and mix with the pasta. Then mix in the lemon juice. Rub the chicken with the paste and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
Then roast the chicken over a charcoal fire until brown and done. Serve the chicken with rice and tomato slices and sprinkle the chopped lombok on top.
