Plecing Kangkung
kangkung with a sambal sauce

300 gr kangkung
1500 ml of water
2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 limes, juice
50 ml of water
4 tbsp oil

Haluskan sambal:
5 red lomboks
2 red rawits
1 teaspoon trasi
4 cloves of garlic
3 shallots
3 cm of kencur
1 tomato

Cara membuat:
Clean the kangkung. Heat in a pan the water together with 1 teaspoon salt and cook the kangkung until done. Drain and then rinse with cold water. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 4 minutes. Then add the salt, the palmsugar and the lime juice and mix well. Then add the water and cook it gently for 3 minutes. Pour the sauce over the kangkung and serve.
