Udang Garang Asam
prawns in tamarind sauce

500 ml water
1 tbsp tamarind (asem)
500 gr / 12 tiger prawns
1 lemongrass, bruises
2 tbsp palmsugar (gula jawa)
salt to taste

5 red lomboks (chillies)
5 candlnuts
1/2 tsp trassi bakar (shrimp paste)
3 cm laos (galangal)
2 cm kunyit (turmeric/kurkuma)

Cara membuat:
Ground the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Dissolve the tamarind in the water. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu and the lemongrass for 2 minutes. Then add the prawns and fry it for 1 minute. Then add the water, the suger and the salt and let in cook for 10 minutes until the prawns ard done. Serve.
