Ayam Bakar Brebes
roasted chicken from Brebes

1 chicken
2 tsp asam water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp kecap manis
500 ml of water

4 cloves of garlic
7 shallots
1/4 tsp pepper
2 kemiri nuts, roasted
2 red lomboks
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Rub the chicken with the asam water and the salt and leave it for at least 15 minutes. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 6 minutes. Then add the chicken and cook until the meat changes color.
Then add the kecap and the water and cook the chicken until tender. Remove the chicken from the pan and roast it over a charcoal fire until brown and baste it regularly with the sauce.
Serve the chicken with slices cucumber, tomato, kemangi and sambal trasi.
