Gaeng Som Kai sour chicken soup Ingredients: 700 gr chicken 900 ml chicken stock 11 cloves garlic 4 shallots 6 cm kunyit (krukuma/krachai/lesser ginger) 8 red and green rawits/jalapenos 1 tsp shrimp paste (trasi/kapi) 4 tbsp fish sauce (nam pla) 2 tsp asem/tamarinde 2 tbsp palmsugar, grated 100 gr green vegetables Preperation/Method: Slice the shallots and the garlic very fine. Slice the rawits into thin strips. Slice the kunyit in 6 pieces and crush it. Slice the vegetables. Slice the meat into thin strips. Heat in a pan the chicken stock and add the ingredients. When it boils again add the chicken and let it simmer until the chicken is cooked.
