Tom Kanoon jackfruit soup ingredients: 100 gr jack fruit 3 red rawits (chilies) 3 cloves garlic 1 red onion 1 tbsp fish sauce (nam pla) 4 tbsp mature fish sauce 250 ml water 1 tbsp lime juice 2 tsp sticky rice (ketan) 1 spring onion 10 coriander leaves preperation/method: Roast the rice and pound it into a flour. Roast the rawits, the onion and the garlic. Chop the spring onion and the coriander leaves. Add the water and the mature fish sauce in a pan and add the jack fruit en let it simmer for 15-20 minutes to boil of the liquid. Pound the jack fruit, the garlic, the rawits and the onion into a pulp. Mix in the fish sauce, the lime juice, the sugar, the rice flour, the spring onion and the coriander leaves and serve.
